Attention Current Parents: As you know we are pursuing District Level accreditation for the Schools in the Diocese of Charlotte.  In support of this process we are asking you to complete the following brief survey.  We thank you in advance for your input in this important process.  https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Catholic_Schools_Survey

Saint Pius X Catholic School opened in the Greensboro community in 1955 in honor of Pope Pius X who had been recently canonized. The school was first staffed by the Daughters of Charity from Emmitsburg, Maryland. After continuous growth a new church was built in 1981 to accommodate a growing parish. A new middle school wing was added in 1997. In 2000 the new state of the art Athletic Center was dedicated in honor of Father Francis Connolly.

Our mission, as a Catholic faith oriented school, is “to make one’s faith become living, conscious, and active through the light of instruction." Our program strives to develop in each student a positive self-image with all the skills needed to assume Christian responsibility and become a contributor to our changing society. We recognize the importance of a strong partnership within our school community.
