Admissions FAQs


Is there a deadline to apply to the school?                                                               

No, Saint Pius X Catholic School (SPX) offers rolling admissions. We recommend that you submit your application early to ensure that your child has a place in his or her class.

Must my child(ren) participate in screening process before admittance?         

Yes. SPX requires all K-8th grade applicants to be screened by ABC Educational Services, Inc.

What is the makeup of the Saint Pius X student population?                   

SPX embraces the diversity of our local area in both ethnicity and religious affiliation. In this spirit, we do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, creed, color, national origin, or any other characteristics.

Does SPX offer an after school program?                                                                     

Yes. Students at SPX may attend Before School Care from 7:00 to 8:00 AM and After School Care from 3:10 to 6:00 PM. In After School Care, children complete homework and enjoy supervised unstructured play. Fees are listed in the 2018-2019 Extended Day Program Registration Packet.

Does SPX offer tuition assistance?                                                                                

Yes. SPX offers need-based tuition assistance. For more information, please contact the admissions office.

Does applying for tuition assistance influence the admission decision?                      

No. SPX accepts students based on academic merit, teacher evaluations, and screening results. Tuition Assistance Applications are reviewed independently of the admission process.

Can I pay my tuition in installments?                                                                              

Yes. SPX offers three different payment plans: a one-time payment, a two-time payment, or a monthly automated draft. SPX also offers a tuition discount to families with multiple children.
